Reminder about the new online booking system

Just a reminder that we are switching to a new online booking system and online booking will not be available on December 31st or January 1st.  Please call the clinic if you would like to book an appointment and cannot access the online booking 250 590 4197.

When the new system is up and running, you will need to create a new account.  If you already have bookings in 2015, you will receive a welcome email that will prompt you to create an account.

Along with a new online booking system, we are also welcoming another acupuncturist to our team!

Anita Chopra earned her Doctor of Chinese Medicine Diploma in Victoria after five years of study.  Anita enhanced her skills by interning in Tianjin, China at the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  Anita also has a Bachelor Commerce degree from the University of Calgary.  She is a licensed Registered Acupuncturist. 

Anita displays an educated and intuitive understanding of her patient’s personal health. 
She has experience in working in a multi-disciplinary clinic and effectively uses acupuncture in conjunction with other therapies or on its own.  

Anita is certified in Constitutional Facial Acupuncture, and Pre & Post Pregnancy Treatments.  She has treated many disorders including acute & chronic pain, anxiety, stress, muscle tension, headache, sciatica, motor vehicle injuries, digestive, menstrual and menopausal concerns.

January changes!

It's almost the new year and you will notice some changes at Renew!  We are going to be using a new online booking system as of January 2nd so please create a new account the first time you log in.  We appreciate your patience with the transition to the new system.

We are excited to welcome a new RMT to Renew!  Ryan Moen will be starting with us on April 15th.

Ryan graduated locally from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009. Since then he has practiced simultaneously at multi disciplinary health clinics and luxury hotel spa settings. Ryan has spent his career focusing on the holistic approach that pain is most often a presentation and the problem can be as multi faceted as the individual. He believes health is found in the equilibrium of activity, diet, mind and practiced on the day to day. Ryan aims to treat the problem and not just soothe the dysfunction momentarily. 

Treatments with Ryan utilize subtle techniques to allow the body to relax back into balance, improving posture with myofascial release and relieving pain with a combination of trigger point therapy and swedish massage. Ryan has studied under Ann Sleeper with an introduction to Osteopathic techniques and hopes to continue down that education pathway.
