Craig is going to Costa Rica and will be away for the rest of May! While he is away Maddie McIntyre will be working some of his shifts and taking care of his patients.
Maddie completed her massage therapy training at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria in 2005. After graduation Maddie opened Monte Vista Massage Therapy in Nanoose Bay and practiced there for 2 years before moving to Victoria. During this time she pursued additional training in the Dr. Vodder School of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Maddie has the highest level of training in MLD available and is certified to treat all lymphatic conditions.
In treatment Maddie incorporates deep tissue Swedish massage with aspects of myofascial release, MLD, cranio-sacral therapy, and muscle energy techniques where she aims to individualize all her treatments to the patient’s specific needs.
Maddie has a passion for the wilderness and loves to go camping, canoeing and hiking. She is also an avid world traveler but loves curling up at home with a good book too. We are very happy to have Maddie working with us for this month.
